Volunteer Instructors

SARI needs volunteers over 14 years old to assist in year round classes and in our summer day camp. NO prior horse experience is necessary.  We will provide all the training you need to volunteer as a sidewalker or a horse leader. We also require volunteers to do grooming, tack cleaning and stable work. Or, if you have lots of "horsey" experience, talk to us about our opportunities for instructing or exercise riding. You will be invited to attend a volunteer training session to learn the rewarding, relaxing and enjoyable job of helping kids obtain riding therapy.

Important Notice:

We thank you for your interest in volunteering at SARI.  Due to major construction and renovations during the spring/summer of 2008, training of new volunteers will be on hold until Fall 2008. If you would like to be considered as a volunteer, please feel free to send in a Volunteer Application and we will be in touch when training sessions have been scheduled.
