The important work that SARI Therapeutic Riding does to help those with special needs is only possible through the generous donations and volunteer efforts of people like you.
Our programs rely on your support:
- SARI’s 2009 operating budget is $320,000
- Stable expenses are $34,250
- Cost per horse (without factoring in staff expenses to care for them) is $3,000
- One lesson at SARI needs up to four volunteers
- There is a significant waiting list to take lessons at SARI
- $25 - treats for the year, for one horse
- $45 - therapy balls, toys, music and other equipment for the therapeutic riding program
- $75 - feed for one month, for one horse
- $175 - sponsor a child for 10 therapeutic riding lessons
- $3,000 - sponsor a horse through our Adopt a Pony program for one year
