Day at the Derby

Meal ticket sales are now closed.

Join us from home on Saturday May 1 as we celebrate the 147th running of the Kentucky Derby in support of SARI Therapeutic Riding!

To help celebrate "The Run for the Roses" buy your tickets by April 15 and be entered to win a dozen red roses that you will receive with your meal!

All ticket holders will have their name entered into our "Win, Place and Show" draw and three lucky winners will receive a Yeti Rambler!

Each $50 ticket gets you a delicious 3 course meal!

SARI is partnering with Youth Opportunities Unlimited to provide you with the delicious meal options below:

Appetizer

Romaine Lettuce with Corn Bread Croutons, Cherry Tomatoes & Buttermilk Dressing (can be gluten free)

Main

Double Smoked Ham with sweet Bourbon & Mustard Glaze, Pimento Mac & Cheese, Braised Southern Style Greens

Vegetarian Option: Edamame Succotash (southern vegetable stew), Pimento Mac & Cheese, Braised Southern Style Greens

Dessert

Derby Pie (chocolate & Pecan Tart)

Delivery or Pickup

All meals come prepared but will need to be heated up when you are ready to enjoy! Instructions will be provided.

Pickup will be Friday April 30 between 9:00am - 6:00pm at

Cornerstone Building – Youth Action Centre, YOU Made It Café

If you are unable to pick up your meal, we will have the option to arrange a volunteer to provide delivery.

All you need is:

1) internet access and to enjoy pre-recorded Derby themed entertainment from SARI

2) access to cable or online viewing of the Kentucky Derby, shown on most major sports networks

3) an appetite to enjoy a scrumptous catered meal in the comfort of your own home!
