Grooming

Our grooming program focuses on unmounted horsemanship activities, and is suitable for participants who may not benefit or be able to get on a horse.

This program is also beneficial to those who may be anxious or fearful, and allows them to have a slow introduction to new activities.

About our Grooming Program

Our grooming program includes goal-oriented horsemanship activities such as:

  • Grooming
  • Feeding treats
  • Decorating horses (accessories and horse-friendly paints)
  • Taking short walks with the horses, and
  • Arena games.

This program is designed to help our participants achieve their emotional goals by working with our horses, and also to become more comfortable around horses in general.
