Ride-a-Thon

Presented by the Mitchell and Kathryn Baran Foundation.

Help us raise vital funds by doing your own sponsored ride-a-thon, on your own horse, at your usual barn!

Event Details

September 5th to 19th, 2026
Celebration barbecue at SARI on Sunday, September 13th from 12pm to 3pm
Take part from your own home, on your own horse! (SARI participants can pledge one of their lessons)
Minimum pledge $1, with prizes for $100+, $350+, and more for top fundraisers!

How it works

The annual SARI Ride-a-Thon is going virtual! Participate from anywhere, at your convenience! You can pledge:

An exercise riding session
A hack around your own farm, or
A riding lesson wherever you’re learning!

We would love for you to be a part of this amazing event from the comfort of either your own horse, or borrow a horse from a friend!

All we ask is that you pledge a minimum of $1, and send us a photo or video of your sponsored ride. It couldn’t be easier to take part!

General public

Raise $100 or more and receive a complimentary ticket to attend SARI’s Artisan Auction and Dancing in the Dirt on October 17, 2026.
Raise $350 or more and you’ll also receive an exclusive Ride-a-Thon T-shirt, available for pickup at the Artisan Auction.

SARI participants

Raise $50 or more and receive an official 2026 Ride-A-Thon T-shirt.
Raise $100 or more and you’ll receive a complimentary ticket to be our guest at SARI’s Artisan Auction and Dancing in the Dirt on October 17, 2026 (a $75 value), and a Ride-A-Thon T-shirt.

Our top fundraisers will be recognized on our social media pages, and will receive special prizes at the Artisan Auction!

Registration opens on August 1st, 2026.

You can register as either a member of the general public or as a participant. Participant registration is open to those registered for riding lessons during our Fall 2026 session, and can register using the SARI Participant registration button below. Anyone else who wishes to make their pledge, please use the General public registration button below.
