Facility Maintenance Coordinator

Permanent, Part-time

SARI Therapeutic Riding is a charitable organization that provides adaptive equine programming for people with disabilities. We are currently seeking applicants to the position of Facility Maintenance Coordinator to deliver adaptive riding and grooming lessons to our participants.

The Facility Maintenance Coordinator has a primary responsibility for the farm property and facility maintenance in accordance with PATH Intl. standards, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of the Program Instructor include but are not limited to:

  • maintenance of facilities
  • pasture management
  • identifying proposed budget requirements for the coming year, reviewing proposed budget areas of responsibility and working within annual budgeted allowances
  • raising property or building concerns in writing to the Executive Director, alongside research and gathering quotes for repairs and maintenance and highlighting any potential capital expenses
  • support the preparation of the property for fundraising or special events as needed, attending on-farm events and supporting on-site initiatives
  • maintaining proper and timely records regarding operational expenses and equipment repairs.

Hours: This position has a part time schedule up to 25 hours per week.

Work Location: SARI Therapeutic Riding, 12659 Medway Road, Arva, ON N0M 1C0

Anticipated Start Date: as soon as possible
