SARI is a nonprofit organization, funded entirely by program fees, public and private donations, and one-off grants.
Below, you can see a summary of how we’re funded, and how you can help us keep Changing Lives, Stride by Stride.
SARI is an independent nonprofit, and we rely on the generosity and support of our community to care for our herd.
Fees for program cover about 30% of our revenue, and the remaining 70% of our funding comes from grants, events, sponsorships, and donations.
This includes caring for our herd through feed, hay, vet bills, and pasture and land management.
There are a number of ways you can support SARI as an individual, to help care for our herd and ensure that we’re offering the best programs possible for our participants.
Your ongoing support also helps us manage and grow our programs, allowing us to plan for future programming, to expand our herd, and to strengthen our support for our community by delivering these impactful services.
By donating directly to SARI, you are helping us provide essentials such as well-fitting equipment for horses and participants.
Provides new tack for our programs, including specialist surcingles.
Buys a new certified riding helmet, ensuring safety and comfort for our participants.
Helps us cover emergency veterinary costs to keep our horses healthy and happy.
If you choose to make a recurring monthly donation, not only do you ensure that we have a steady income for our programs and herd, you also become a Friend of SARI, and your match will be DOUBLED thanks to our match donor partner.
